Hola familia,
I´m glad Derek´s okay. Sounds like a bad crash, but with how fast he was going it sounds like he was super blessed to not get hurt. (Derek was driving his four wheeler down from Maple Hollow and the tire fell off and he was thrown into the scrub brush. He was very blessed to come away from it without any injuries.) Sounds like a fun 4th of July though, minus all the crashes and mishaps.

We had a good week. The baptism of Liliana fell through again, but we´re having the baptism Friday and another 9 year old son of members Sunday, so we pray that everything will go well this week with the 2 baptisms. Liliana´s parents both ended up having to work Sunday, so we had to postpone the baptism, but everything's going to work out this week. We found an awesome new family from Bolivia this week, and we have baptismal dates with the mom, and with the daughter for the 30th of July. Hopefully we can help the rest of the family work towards baptism too.

The whole country was in depression Saturday and Sunday after the game. They hate Germans and the English, so the first couple of days, we got yelled at a couple of times because people think we´re Germans. But now everything's gone back to normal. But no one talks about the game. It was a very disappointing, emotional loss for everyone, they got slaughtered. In the last world cup Germany beat them, and has also had some other really big wins over Argentina in the world cup like dad said. But everything´s good now.

President Asay left last week, but the new president and his wife aren´t going to be able to get here until Thursday because his visa hasn´t arrived. So the new senior missionary is the acting president until he gets here.

So, hope that everything goes well with all of you guys this week, and I guess I´ll talk to you next week. This week I didn´t write until today because we had a zone activity and we went to the zoo in the capital, and it was pretty fun. It´s a pretty big zoo.
